Country Bears is closed on these major holidays:
Please Note: Country Bears is closed on all major holidays to allow our staff and families time to rest and celebrate. We appreciate your understanding and encourage families to plan accordingly. A full list of holiday closures is available upon request.
- Two Weeks At Christmas (Same 2 Weeks As The School District)
- Good Friday
- Easter Monday
- Victoria Day (May 22nd)
- Canada Day (July 1st)
- BC Day (1st Monday in August)
- Labour Day (1st weekend in September)
- Thanksgiving (3rd Monday in October)
- Remembrance Day (November 11th)
SNOW DAYS:
Country Bears Child Care will close when our local School district decides to close. We close for the safety and the well-being of all staff and families. There are no refund for Snow Days.
Power Outages:
If the power is out before we open, we can not operate our daycare centre due to no heat, lights and no washroom facilities. If the power goes out during the daycare day, we will contact BC Hydro and get an estimated up date. If the wait is longer than one hour, we will start calling families to do pick ups If you are unable to pick up, make sure you call your emergency contact on our Registration form to pick your child up from daycare. There are no refunds for Power Outages.
